Christian was asked in 2011 by a leading German Christian Business Magazine if China will become the next Superpower.

Most likely “no” is his straight answer. Christian explains the 6 major impediments: competitiveness, economic growth, culture, environmental costs, Asia’s unresolved conflicts and Ethics. All these factors point to much lower economic growth in the future and increased conflicts in Asia. As long as Beijing persecutes a large number of Christians & other minorities it will hardly reach its potential. Their destiny “underground” exposes the flawed ethics of many Western nations, not just Beijing. Christian avoids here demographics (which in itself is worth a separate article and could also explain why China’s future growth will decelerate along its imploding Labor Force)
